Assessment Center

 

The Assessment Center provides affordably priced and comprehensive psychological assessments using best practice assessment models and evidence-based testing measures.  Integrated batteries are conducted by an advanced doctoral student, and supervised by an experienced, licensed psychologist.  The Assessment Center provides evaluations* for individuals of all ages and a range of diagnostic factors including:

  • Developmental Disorders and delays (Autism spectrum disorders, Borderline Intellectual Functioning/Mental Retardation and Language related delays in early childhood).

  • Learning Disorders for adults and children.

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder for adults and children.

  • Neuropsychological measures for adults and children.

  • Personality and Mood Disorder evaluations for adults and children.

  • Assessment for Individual Education Plans (IEP/IFSP) and testing accommodations (GRE, SAT, college entrance examinations), and gifted/talented evaluation.

Evaluations are available in Spanish on a case-by-case basis.

The Assessment Center also can provide educational presentations to educators, parent groups, and care providers on topics including typical child development and indications of developmental delay, education around ASDs, ADHD, and Learning Disorders. 

Fees are on a sliding scale to serve families with limited resources, individuals without insurance and students.  Fees generally range from $400-$1200 depending on income and complexity of testing needed.
